Today, the family of Barbara J. Brown, in partnership with ACP Project, proudly presented the 1st Annual Barbara J. Brown Nursing Scholarship to Patricia D. Forbush (Back row in the middle) of Lenoir Community College.
Patricia was selected through a competitive review process and stood out for both her extensive healthcare experience and her commitment to patient care.
With over 20 years in the field, including experience as an EMT, phlebotomist, and medical assistant, she has demonstrated a long-standing dedication to serving others.
Her essay reflected strong clinical insight, compassion, and advocacy, along with a clear commitment to continued growth in the nursing profession.
